95% of maintenance responsibilities were saved for the 'qualified maintenance' on 1st and 2nd, even though 3rd had many very qualified people with a ton of experience that could do the work. There was really no maintenance work other than cleaning and changing out table game layouts on 3rd. Upper management was horrible and highly favored only the upper management/salaried employees who had been there a while (good ole boys). The co-workers were the highlight of employment.
The co-workers in maintenance were awesome! We got along great and definitely made the best of the night. 3rd shift is fairly boring and yet stressful, especially in the maintenance/cleaning area.
